TAGASPAR Scanner

Privacy Policy

TAGASPAR is designed to perform local PC integrity checks while minimizing the information sent off the device.

Effective August 31, 2026

Information we collect

Account information includes your email address, display name, password-derived security material, account role, login sessions, and recovery-key hash. Passwords and recovery keys are never stored in readable form.

Scan information

The scanner analyzes files and Windows forensic sources locally. When you approve submission, TAGASPAR receives a redacted summary: scan time, scanner version, file count, severity totals, system boot and installation dates, and up to 20 priority findings. It does not upload the scanned files.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate accounts, deliver authorized scanner releases, show scan results to authorized staff, relay consented summaries to the configured Discord channel, prevent abuse, and maintain audit records.

Retention and security

Scan links expire automatically. Account and report records remain until removed under TAGASPAR operational policy. Sessions are stored as hashes and cookies are HTTP-only. Staff access is separately authorized and sensitive service credentials stay server-side.

Your choices

You can change your display name and password, rotate your recovery key, or delete a non-owner account from Account Settings. You may decline the scan consent notice; if you decline, the scanner download is not released for that session.

Contact

Privacy or deletion questions can be directed through the TAGASPAR support contact published on the Support page.
